Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Sales Executive to join our Power Retail Division.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving in-store sales, building strong customer relationships, and expanding the company’s retail footprint.
  • The role requires a proactive self-starter who thrives in a target-driven environment, demonstrates strong initiative, and can identify new market opportunities to grow sales and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth:

  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets on a consistent basis.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory or outlet.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of customers through effective lead generation and follow-up.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs and product suitability.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to the Retail Supervisor.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Deliver excellent customer service and post-sale support to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with walk-in customers and repeat buyers.

Market & Brand Development:

  • Contribute to increasing the visibility and reputation of the brand within the retail space.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to provide feedback for strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in retail marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, and promotional activities to boost awareness and sales.

Operational Excellence:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth product supply, timely deliveries, and proper documentation.
  • Adhere to company policies, pricing standards, and retail operating procedures.

Innovation & Initiative:

  • Recommend improvements in sales techniques, customer engagement strategies, and store operations.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to evolving business needs and retail innovations.
  • Actively contribute ideas for boosting sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years’ experience in retail sales, preferably in the power, consumer electronics, or FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer orientation with problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic CRM tools.
