Retail Sales Executive
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Sales Executive to join our Power Retail Division.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving in-store sales, building strong customer relationships, and expanding the company’s retail footprint.
- The role requires a proactive self-starter who thrives in a target-driven environment, demonstrates strong initiative, and can identify new market opportunities to grow sales and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth:
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets on a consistent basis.
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory or outlet.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of customers through effective lead generation and follow-up.
- Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs and product suitability.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to the Retail Supervisor.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Deliver excellent customer service and post-sale support to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with walk-in customers and repeat buyers.
Market & Brand Development:
- Contribute to increasing the visibility and reputation of the brand within the retail space.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to provide feedback for strategic decision-making.
- Participate in retail marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, and promotional activities to boost awareness and sales.
Operational Excellence:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth product supply, timely deliveries, and proper documentation.
- Adhere to company policies, pricing standards, and retail operating procedures.
Innovation & Initiative:
- Recommend improvements in sales techniques, customer engagement strategies, and store operations.
- Demonstrate adaptability to evolving business needs and retail innovations.
- Actively contribute ideas for boosting sales and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–6 years’ experience in retail sales, preferably in the power, consumer electronics, or FMCG sector.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer orientation with problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic CRM tools.
