Requirements;

  • A good first degree from a recognized university; a higher degree is an added advantage.
  • Membership of a recognized professional body in governance, administration, law, management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years cognate experience, with at least 5 years at senior management or executive level.
  • Proven experience in regulatory administration, professional services, or institutional management.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance, including CAMA 2020 and the Nigerian Code of Corporate Governance (NCCG).
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership, administrative oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment.

Key responsibilities;

  • Oversee regulatory functions, including registration and professional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and governance codes (including CAMA 2020 and NCCG).
  • Coordinate professional education, training, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes.
  • Advise the Board/Council on corporate governance best practices
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and represent the organization at official engagements.
