Regional and Operational Manager
About the Role
- We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional and Operational Manager to lead and oversee our operations across multiple locations within the automotive division.
- This role is critical to driving operational excellence, sales growth, and efficient distribution of products including 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, Kargo vehicles, engine oil, and spare parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned branches/regions, ensuring sales and operational targets are met.
- Manage sales, distribution, inventory, and service delivery for all automotive products (2W, 3W, Kargo, engine oil, and spare parts).
- Develop and implement regional strategies to drive market penetration and customer acquisition.
- Monitor and improve operational KPIs – sales performance, stock turnover, service levels, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure timely stock replenishment and optimal inventory levels across all locations.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Logistics, Customer Service, and Finance teams to align goals and improve efficiency.
- Lead, train, and motivate branch and field teams; ensure adherence to SOPs and company values.
- Analyze regional trends and market intelligence to support decision-making and expansion.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Regularly report performance, challenges, and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in regional operations, preferably in the automobile or FMCG sector.
- Proven ability to manage multi-branch operations with high-volume product turnover.
- Strong commercial awareness with a clear understanding of the 2W, 3W, engine oil, and spare parts market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP tools.
- Must be willing to travel extensively across regions.
