Role Summary

• The Quantity Surveyor will prepare cost estimates, manage budgets, handle procurement, and support contract administration for doors, hardware, and installation projects.
• The role ensures accurate costing, effective resource use, and profitability across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates, quotations, and tender documents.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine material quantities.
• Track budgets, costs, and variations throughout project stages.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
• Liaise with project teams for valuations and progress claims.
• Prepare reports, cash flow forecasts, and final account summaries.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 2 – 3 years relevant experience (construction or door industry preferred).
• Strong understanding of door systems, hardware, and building regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
