Quality Officer

AXA OneHealth is looking for a highly skilled Quality Officer to join our team. This role is critical in driving our commitment to excellence, ensuring that our healthcare services consistently meet top-quality standards, and fostering a culture where quality is everyone’s responsibility.

The ideal candidate will lead our performance management and quality improvement efforts using a data-driven approach, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and continuous operational excellence.
 Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor compliance with hospital-wide policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Develop, implement, and manage the hospital’s Quality Management & Improvement System.
  • Lead regular quality review meetings, analyze performance data, and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Support the adoption of international healthcare quality standards (e.g., JCI).
  • Coordinate variance/incident reporting and ensure thorough investigation and follow-up actions.
  • Build quality improvement capacity across teams through training and continuous engagement.
  • Provide regular reports on performance, quality trends, and improvement outcomes.
  • Train and certify in-house quality improvement champions.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, or related medical field.
  • Master’s degree in Hospital Quality, MBA (Quality Management), or related specialization.
  • Certification as a Healthcare Quality Professional.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality Management in a hospital or healthcare organization.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Experience with accreditation processes (governmental or private) preferred.
  • Knowledge of JCI standards is an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of QA techniques: audits, inspections, testing, SPC, RCA, etc.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret quality-related data using statistical tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver quality-related training.
  • Experience with implementing and improving QMS.

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with great time management skills.
