Job Description:

• We’re seeking a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our innovative team at Syx Labs, a pioneer in blockchain and AI solutions in Africa. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in testing and debugging of software applications and APIs
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and backend applications
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues
• Perform regression testing, performance testing, and usability testing
• Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and best practices
• Analyze root causes of defects and suggest process improvements
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of testing processes and results
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies=

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a QA engineer or in a similar role
• Familiarity with Agile development processes
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter)
• Proficient in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for quality
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
