Project Account Officer
- The Project Account Officer plays a vital role in keeping track of project cost and reporting same in a manner that will be useful for management decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage credit accounts and accounts payable/receivable, including customer invoices and supplier bills.
- Handle payment processing and account settlements.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Monitor and keep track of project cost.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Support budget preparation and financial planning activities.
- Liaise with government agencies and external bodies to ensure timely filing and compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Communicate with customers, management, and suppliers to resolve financial matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience
- Proficient in any accounting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
