Procurement / Accountant

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Procurement/Accountant to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate must have a strong accounting background, vast knowledge of inventory
  • management, and hands-on experience in bookkeeping.
  • He or she will be responsible for
  • overseeing procurement activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring effective inventory control to support smooth business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor sourcing, price negotiations, and purchase order management.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure accurate record- keeping of all inventory items.
  • Construction Supervision.
  • Maintain up-to-date bookkeeping records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements, expense reports, and monthly account summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any discrepancies in orders.
  • Track procurement costs and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for procurement activities.
  • Support internal and external audits with required documentation.

Requirements

  • OND / HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control systems.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
