Job Description

• The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences using both the British and Nigerian curricula across Key Stage 1 and 2. The teacher will create an engaging, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment while maintaining high expectations for all learners.

Responsibilities:

• Teach subjects across the Key Stage 1 and 2 curricula using both British and Nigerian standards.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill curriculum program requirements and reflect differentiation for various student learning styles.
• Maintain a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning, inclusion, and child development.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, school activities, and continuous improvement strategies.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a relevant field with a PGDE.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a reputable school setting.
• Sound knowledge and experience teaching both British (Key Stage 1 & 2) and Nigerian primary school curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in the use of ICT for teaching and learning.
• TRCN certification is an added advantage.
