Presales Engineer
Job Summary
- We seek a highly skilled and motivated Presales Engineer and Security expert to join our dynamic team at Edgebase Technologies.
- The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of Digital Infrastructure, Networking and cybersecurity security solutions and with Ability to work closely with OEM’s to design solution End-to-End for our customers.
- As a Presales Engineer, you will be responsible for solution architectures, proof of concepts (PoCs), and proof of value (PoV) and delivering technical expertise to prospective clients.
- This role is ideal for someone eager to take on technical sales, solution design, and customer engagement.
- This role requires a dynamic professional who can bridge the gap between technical expertise and business needs, supporting our sales team with solution design, technical presentations, and client engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provides pre-sales Lead technical product demonstrations- proof of concept, demos, and workshops to prospective clients.
- Collaborates with sales teams, OEM’s / vendors, and industry partners to understand client requirements and provide tailored IT solutions.
- Ability to respond to proposals RFP, RFQ to achieve edgebase global target.
- Create an architectural detailed design, engineering, and implementation specifications for networks and solutions by doing deal Reg.
- Deliver training and support to our Sales team and Engineers under the direction of the enterprise manager .
- Continuously learn and stay ahead of the industry and competitive solutions, products, and services by engaging in trainings and certifications
- Participate in product/service pitch meetings, bids, and technical defences with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide pre and post-sales support in solution deployment to ensure client satisfaction and seamless onboarding.
- Work closely with Enterprise manager, sales, and delivery teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
- Maintain accurate Enterprise-sales forecasts and Edgebase Certification levels.
- Provide regular updates to the Enterprise managers on Certifications and trainings
- Maintain Company IT standards, Architecture principles and Strategy, Roadmap and use cases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, and related field or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a technical/pre-sales role with proven experience in a pre-sales or solution design role within the IT industry is key.
- Experience designing/engineering LAN/WAN, Data Center, Security, and creating BOMs, pricing strategies, and solution configuration.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services, storage and enterprise solutions will be a great advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications could include (e.g., MICROSOFT, CISCO, HPI & HPE, DELL , LENOVO, FORTINET, SOPHOS, ETC ) will be an advantage.
- CNA/CCNP or any other industry security certification equivalent.
- Experience working with enterprise clients and customer engagement and opportunity Identification.
