Pharmacist
Sales and Revenue Management:
- Drive sales revenue through effective marketing strategies.
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Forecast and track revenue on a weekly or monthly basis.
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to the executive team.
Product Display and Cross-Selling:
- Ensure maximum display standards of products in the pharmacy and other business chains to encourage customer purchases.
- Promote cross-selling of products to drive revenue.
Consultation and counselling:
- Educate customers on medications prescribed and other products.
- Prepare prescription according to prescriber instruction.
- Educating patients about how and when to take or administer the prescription.
- Advise patients about potential side effects of medication and answering any questions they may have.
- Administer various vaccinations, such as flu shots e.t.c
- Dispense drugs amongst others
Sales Reconciliation:
- Perform daily reconciliation of all sales lodgments, including cash and electronic payments, to ensure transaction accuracy.
Financial Discipline:
- Ensure financial discipline and prudence in procurement of drugs e.t.c and payments.
Stock Management:
- Ensure availability of stocks in the pharmacy to meet sales forecasts.
- Follow up on inventory levels to avoid stockouts and short-dated products.
Employee Training and Customer Service:
- Train and retrain subordinates on product knowledge and exceptional customer service.
- Drive all subordinates to provide exceptional customer service.
Employee Performance and Discipline:
- Conduct regular subordinate’s performance evaluations and recommend appropriate actions.
- Ensure subordinates adherence to company standards and policies.
- Monitor subordinates attendance and punctuality.
