People Operations Administrator

The Role

  • We’re looking for a People Operations Administrator to support the day-to-day HR and people experience tasks that help our remote team stay connected, supported, and set up for success. You’ll play a hands-on role in the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our people operations smooth, from onboarding logistics to maintaining internal systems, tracking documentation, and being a general point of contact for team support.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • You’ll work closely with the People Operations Lead and cross-functional teams to support operations across the employee lifecycle:

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • You’ll be a key part of making sure every new hire’s first impression is a good one. That means coordinating calendars for interviews, scheduling onboarding calls and welcome chats, and making sure our onboarding checklists and access setups are handled without a hitch. On the flip side, when someone exits, you’ll help make the process respectful and smooth, ensuring documentation is complete and exit surveys are properly collected.

People Ops Support

  • You’ll help keep our internal systems and records clean and up to date. This ranges from managing data in our HRIS tool (BambooHR), keeping internal trackers organised, and maintaining the accuracy of our people-related documentation.

Employee Experience

  • You’ll support the people team in creating small, meaningful moments for our distributed team, from remote events and birthday shoutouts to engagement activities. You’ll also act as a friendly point of contact for general HR questions, helping teammates find the answers they need or pointing them to the right person. On top of that, you’ll help gather and consolidate feedback from surveys, retros, and check-ins so we’re always improving how we work together.

Admin & Coordination

  • This role will also lean heavily on your coordination skills. You’ll support scheduling across various people processes like performance reviews, regular 1:1s, and team pulse check-ins. You’ll partner with other departments to make sure tools, access, and expense processes run smoothly. And you’ll play a part in documenting and improving our internal people processes as we grow and evolve.

Executive Support

  • You’ll also act as a right hand to the CEO, helping manage their calendar, scheduling key meetings, handling follow-ups, and keeping day-to-day logistics running smoothly. This part of your task requires you to be discreet, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities while keeping communication clear and timely.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years of experience in an HR, people ops, or administrative support role
  • background working in a fintech cross-border payments or Web3 start-up.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with BambooHR
  • Experience using tools like Slack, Notion and Google Suite
  • Clear communicator with a service-oriented approach
  • Self-starter who’s proactive and dependable without micromanagement
  • Excellent time management and a knack for anticipating needs before they arise.
  • Experience working in a fully remote start-up environment
