People and Culture Analyst

Job Overview

  • The People and Culture Analyst plays a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, ensuring a positive and engaging workplace experience for all team members.
  • This role combines analytical insight, operational excellence, and a passion for people to help shape and strengthen our culture.
  • Working closely with the wider team, the Analyst supports recruitment and onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, benefits administration, and continuous improvement of people processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and communication with applicants.
  • Conduct or assist with employee interviews in line with recruitment best practices.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and metrics to inform hiring decisions and workforce planning.
  • Support and enhance the onboarding process to ensure a smooth and engaging new hire experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to deliver an onboarding journey that reflects our values and culture.

Employee Experience and Engagement:

  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, well-being, and recognition.
  • Support the rollout of employee surveys, collate data, and prepare insights to inform continuous improvement.
  • Assist in organising internal events and activities that strengthen community and culture.
  • Contribute to programs that foster diversity, inclusion, and belonging across the organisation.

People Data and Systems:

  • Maintain and update the People Team SharePoint site to ensure all information, policies, and resources are current and easily accessible.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of People data and documentation across systems and databases.
  • Support data collection and reporting to provide meaningful insights into workforce trends, engagement, and performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and digital tools that enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Employee Relations and Culture:

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries, ensuring timely and empathetic support.
  • Promote and reinforce our organisational values and culture through all interactions and communications.
  • Support initiatives that embed cultural principles into daily practices, leadership behaviours, and team interactions.
  • Assist in addressing employee feedback and identifying opportunities for positive change.

Compensation, Benefits and Policy Support:

  • Support the administration and communication of employee benefits programs.
  • Assist with research and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable benefits offerings.
  • Help maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and templates to reflect current legislation and best practice.

Compliance and Continuous Improvement:

  • Ensure people processes comply with relevant employment laws and internal policies.
  • Support audits and data integrity reviews to maintain high standards of compliance and confidentiality.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline People processes and enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in a People and Culture, HR, or similar analytical/coordination role.
  • Strong understanding of HR/People processes, recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement principles.
  • Experience managing HR/People data and reporting, preferably using HRIS and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting culture or engagement initiatives is highly desirable.

Salary Budget
N400,000 monthly
