We’re looking for a highly technical and experienced Operations Manager to oversee factory setup, equipment integration, supply chain coordination, and compliance with food safety standards. • You’re experienced in food manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar production environment.
• You’re an expert in workflow design, factory setup, and equipment integration.
• You’re highly skilled in inventory control, supply chain coordination, and raw material management.
• You’re knowledgeable in LEAN manufacturing, process optimization, and cost efficiency.
• You’re a strong leader who can manage teams, train workers, and enforce food safety regulations.

Your responsibilities…

• You will oversee the setup of the production facility, including equipment installation, testing, and integration.
• You will develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to standardize operations and optimize workflows.
• You will manage production schedules and workforce planning, ensuring efficiency in day-to-day operations.
• You will be responsible for inventory control, implementing FIFO (First In, First Out) and other efficient tracking methods.
• You will coordinate with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure raw materials are received, stored, and utilized efficiently.
• You will track supplier performance, ensuring consistency and quality in raw material sourcing.
• You will monitor and enforce food safety compliance, ensuring adherence to HACCP, NAFDAC, and other regulatory requirements.
• You will oversee production workers, shift supervisors, and operational teams, ensuring productivity and adherence to company standards.
• You will analyze operational costs and efficiency metrics, tracking KPIs such as downtime, waste reduction, and resource utilization.
• You will drive continuous process improvements, leveraging LEAN manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.

To be considered, you should have…

• 3–5 years of experience in operations management within food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP, NAFDAC, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Expertise in workflow optimization, equipment integration, and process improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in supply chain coordination, inventory control, and cost optimization.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to train, manage, and motivate teams.
• Project management skills, with a problem-solving mindset and a structured approach to operations.
