Job Description
- The team is looking for an individual with a strong background in FinTech, Business Operations, and/or experience in a startup environment. In this role, you’ll be working alongside the Managing Partner.
- This role is essential for driving organizational efficiency, supporting governance, and maintaining operational integrity.
- Assist the Managing Partner in managing daily business operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the seamless execution of business processes;
- Monitor and evaluate key operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions;
- Develop and maintain operational workflows, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity;
- Serve as the point of contact for operational issues, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with company standards;
- Oversee project coordination and initiatives, ensuring objectives are met within set timelines;
- Conduct regular reviews of business policies and processes to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Ensuring Regulatory Compliance.
- Monitor changes in regulatory policies and ensure timely updates and adherence to new requirements in collaboration with relevant team.
- Reporting and Strategic Planning Support.
- Support the Country Manager in developing and executing strategic plans for market expansion, business growth, and operational excellence.
- Analyze trends and data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to the preparation of presentations, proposals, and business cases for stakeholders and regulators.
- Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and profit improvement.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to expand the company’s market presence.
- Collaborate with department heads to set performance goals and monitor progress.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor staff to improve productivity, engagement, and overall performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and business partners to ensure favorable terms.
- Manage and resolve any operational challenges that may arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- A master’s Degree or professional certification in Compliance or Risk Management is an advantage.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in business operations, compliance, or risk management within a regulated industry.
- Experience in the Fintech Sector will be a huge advantage.
- Proficiency in English, both in speaking and writing.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Good analytical skills, ability to collaborate effectively, and team spirit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
