Job Description

  • The team is looking for an individual with a strong background in FinTech, Business Operations, and/or experience in a startup environment. In this role, you’ll be working alongside the Managing Partner.
  • This role is essential for driving organizational efficiency, supporting governance, and maintaining operational integrity.
  • Assist the Managing Partner in managing daily business operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the seamless execution of business processes;
  • Monitor and evaluate key operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions;
  • Develop and maintain operational workflows, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity;
  • Serve as the point of contact for operational issues, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with company standards;
  • Oversee project coordination and initiatives, ensuring objectives are met within set timelines;
  • Conduct regular reviews of business policies and processes to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Ensuring Regulatory Compliance.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory policies and ensure timely updates and adherence to new requirements in collaboration with relevant team.
  • Reporting and Strategic Planning Support.
  • Support the Country Manager in developing and executing strategic plans for market expansion, business growth, and operational excellence.
  • Analyze trends and data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations, proposals, and business cases for stakeholders and regulators.
  • Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and profit improvement.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to expand the company’s market presence.
  • Collaborate with department heads to set performance goals and monitor progress.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor staff to improve productivity, engagement, and overall performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and business partners to ensure favorable terms.
  • Manage and resolve any operational challenges that may arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • A master’s Degree or professional certification in Compliance or Risk Management is an advantage.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in business operations, compliance, or risk management within a regulated industry.
  • Experience in the Fintech Sector will be a huge advantage.
  • Proficiency in English, both in speaking and writing.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Good analytical skills, ability to collaborate effectively, and team spirit.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
