Job Summary:

We are seeking a Nutritionist Assistant to play a crucial role in the daily operations of our milk bank, including milk pasteurization, quality control, and other support processes, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily lab operations, including milk thawing, pooling, pasteurization, labeling, and storage documentation.
• Support the nutritionist in reviewing donor test results and maintaining accurate records.
• Participate in donor recruitment, education, and follow-up (phone and in-person).
• Support the nutritionist for hospital visits, outreach programs, and awareness campaigns.
• Provide basic nutrition and breastfeeding information to mothers under supervision.
• Work closely with the lab assistant to ensure smooth workflow and product quality.
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained in the lab.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an OND/HND/BSc in Nutrition, Food Science, Biochemistry or a related field.
• Experience in food handling or laboratory processes is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills. A passion for maternal and infant nutrition is highly desirable.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
