Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, responsible, and dedicated Nanny/Caregiver to provide daily support, care, and companionship to an elderly couple residing in Enugu. The ideal candidate will assist with basic household chores, support personal care routines, and ensure the general wellbeing and comfort of the couple.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support and companionship to the elderly couple
• Assist with light personal care needs such as dressing, grooming, and mobility (if needed)
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
• Perform household chores including cleaning, laundry, and dishwashing
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe living environment
• Run basic errands (e.g., grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions)
• Monitor general health and report any concerns promptly
• Support with reminders for medication or appointments
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the family

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a nanny, caregiver, or house help
• Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy
• Physically fit and able to assist with light lifting or support
• Ability to cook and perform household tasks independently
• Good communication skills (English or Igbo language proficiency is a plus)
• Flexible and willing to adapt to the couple’s needs and routines
• Basic knowledge of first aid or willingness to learn is an advantage
• References from previous employers will be highly regarded
