Microsoft Dynamics NAV Functional Consultant
Job Objectives:
- As the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Functional Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting and managing our organization’s ERP system.
- You will be responsible for ensuring optimal system performance, resolving user issues, and implement enhancements in conjunction with our ERP Consultant/Partner.
- Your expertise in Dynamics 365 BC will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration:
- Manage user access and permissions
- Configure and maintain system settings
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Perform regular system backups and restore procedures
User Support:
- Provide first-level and second-level support to users
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues
- Conduct user training and documentation
Business Process Improvement:
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work with business users to implement process changes and system enhancements
Report Development and Analysis:
- Design, develop, and maintain custom reports and dashboards
- Analyze data to identify trends and insights
System Integration:
- Integrate D365 BC with other systems, such as Payroll, Project Management tools, or other ERP systems
- Project Implementation:
- Participate in ERP implementation projects, including data migration, customization, configuration, and testing.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations
- Monitor system security and implement security best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 BC
- Experience with ERP implementation and support
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 for Business Central
- Industry Experience: Experience in the Construction industry
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Change Management Skills: Ability to manage change and communicate effectively with users
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 BC, including its core functionalities (Finance, Sales, Inventory, and Projects Management)
- Experience with C/AL programming and AL development
- Proficiency in SQL Server and database administration
- Knowledge of XML, XSLT, and web services
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
