Role Description

• This is a full-time, On-site role based in Ama-Awji for a Medical Laboratory Scientist. The responsibilities include conducting advanced laboratory tests, ensuring quality control measures are maintained, and complying with established laboratory protocols.
• The scientist will perform diagnostic evaluations in laboratory medicine, assist in pathology analyses, and maintain high standards in sample handling and testing.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, the role also involves contributing to the research and development initiatives that align with DNALC Nigeria’s vision and mission.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology, or a related field is required. Professional certification or licensure is a plus
• Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Skills
• Experience in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology
• Strong skills in Quality Control and adherence to standardized laboratory protocols
• Solid understanding of molecular biology and biotechnology concepts
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
