Role Overview

• The Managing Director will be responsible for overall business leadership, with particular emphasis on business development, client acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the firm’s growth strategy for public-sector consulting engagements
• Identify, originate, and close new business opportunities across government institutions, agencies, and parastatals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior public-sector stakeholders and decision-makers
• Drive go-to-market strategies, proposals, pitches, and contract negotiations
• Oversee delivery quality, client satisfaction, and long-term account growth

Required Experience & Profile

• 8+ years’ experience in a senior managerial or executive role
• Strong background engaging the public sector, preferably within financial services, consulting, or regulated institutions
• Demonstrated success in business development, revenue generation, and stakeholder management
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and close complex deals
• Excellent leadership, presentation, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (postgraduate qualification is an advantage)
