Management Trainee

Job Purpose

  • The Management Trainee Program at Hoop Telecoms Limited is designed to develop fresh graduates and early-career professionals into future leaders of the organization.
  • Over a 12-month structured rotation across key departments, trainees will gain hands-on experience, industry knowledge, and professional skills required to take up leadership roles within the telecoms sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in the 1-year structured rotation across core departments of the company.
  • Learn and apply telecoms industry knowledge, business processes, and technical know-how.
  • Assist department heads and teams in executing daily operations, projects, and initiatives.
  • Conduct research, prepare reports, and provide insights on assigned tasks.
  • Support cross-functional projects and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
  • Attend training workshops, mentoring sessions, and performance reviews as part of the program.
  • Demonstrate initiative by contributing ideas for process improvement and business growth.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and mentors.
  • Undergo periodic performance evaluations to measure progress and readiness for larger responsibilities.
  • Successfully complete all program assessments and present a capstone project at the end of the program.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (minimum of Second-Class Upper).
  • 0 – 2 years of post-NYSC experience (prior internship or work experience is an advantage).
  • Strong interest in building a career in the telecoms/ICT industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical mindset with willingness to learn quickly.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Adaptability to work in different teams and departments.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.

Program Structure:

  • Duration: 12 months
  • Rotations: Human Resources, Administrative, Technology, Service Management, Sales & Business Development, Legal, and Finance
  • Training: Classroom training, on-the-job learning, mentorship, and soft skills development
  • Final Placement: Based on performance, interests, and organizational needs.
