Lounge Manager

Job Summary

The Lounge Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the lounge, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, managing staff performance, and maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate has at least five (5) years of experience in hospitality or lounge management, with strong leadership skills, excellent customer service orientation, and a proven ability to drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day lounge activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Implement and enforce service standards, operating procedures, and hygiene protocols.
  • Monitor lounge ambiance, cleanliness, and facility maintenance in line with brand standards.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, beverages, and amenities; coordinate timely restocking.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure guests receive exceptional service and resolve inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly.
  • Implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and collect regular feedback.
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and set the tone for excellent hospitality service.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise lounge staff, including servers, bartenders, and support personnel.
  • Schedule shifts, assign duties, and ensure adequate staffing for all operations.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and high performance.
  • Prepare and manage lounge budgets, cost control, and revenue targets.
  • Track daily sales, customer flow, and expenses; generate operational reports.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of beverages, snacks, and consumables.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal teams such as security, maintenance, and finance.
  • Participate in management meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making for lounge improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in lounge, restaurant, or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, budgeting, and operational reporting.
  • Ability to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
