JOB SUMMARY
- The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving growth in the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations at both locations to ensure efficiency and smooth workflows.
- Oversee the inventory levels of products and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Ensure that both locations adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance for equipment and facilities as needed.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and onboard salon staff, including hairstylists, nail technicians, and support staff.
- Create staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage across both locations.
- Supervise and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching and feedback for improvement.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment to boost employee morale and retention.
Client Relationship Management:
- Ensure a premium client experience by overseeing the quality of services provided at both locations.
- Actively address customer feedback, resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
- Build relationships with key customers to maintain loyalty and encourage repeat visits.
- Implement client retention strategies, such as personalized follow-ups, loyalty rewards, and special offers.
Sales and Revenue Management
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and profitability at both locations.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profit margins.
- Analyze trends and implement promotional activities to attract and retain customers.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports for management review.
Marketing & Business Development:
- Develop creative strategies for promoting services.
- Organize and execute special events, seasonal promotions, and new style launches to drive traffic.
- Oversee and update the salons’ social media platforms with engaging content.
- Create campaigns that promote salon services and special events.
Multi-Location Coordination
- Visit both salon locations to ensure consistent standards and address operational needs.
- Streamline communication between teams at both locations, ensuring alignment on goals and processes.
- Identify and resolve operational discrepancies between locations.
Compliance and Standards
- Ensure all salon operations comply with local regulations, including licensing and sanitation requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain high service and operational standards.
- Address any issues raised during inspections or client reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
- First degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience managing a beauty salon, or similar service-oriented business.
- Proven experience managing multi-location operations is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A keen eye for detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Passionate about the beauty industry and customer service.
