Public Health Officer

The Public Health Officer will support public health programs, community outreach, and health education programs. The role involves assisting in project implementation, data collection, and awareness campaigns to improve community health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and executing public health projects and interventions.

  • Conduct community health education sessions on disease prevention, hygiene, and nutrition.
  • Support data collection and reporting for health programs.
  • Collaborate with local health workers and stakeholders to promote health initiatives.
  • Participate in field visits and health campaigns as required.

Requirements:

  • Must be female and reside in Abuja, Nigeria.
  • Background in Public Health, Nursing, Community Health, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work in both remote and field settings.
  • Ability to commit to volunteer work and attend mandatory training.

Important Notes:

  • This is a volunteer position with a hybrid work model (50% remote, 50% physical engagement).
  • Applications from outside Abuja or male candidates will not be considered.
