Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Credit Team Lead – South South, based in Benin.
• The Credit Team Lead will oversee credit-related functions, including reviewing and approving loan applications, monitoring loan portfolios, and ensuring adherence to credit policies.
• The role involves managing financial risks, analyzing financial data, and providing leadership and guidance to the credit team.
• The Credit Team Lead is expected to support the smooth operations of the credit department while meeting organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to assess financial data and identify risks
• Knowledge and experience in finance and financial services
• Proficiency in accounting principles and practices
• Experience in auditing processes and techniques
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Education in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in credit or loan appraisal within a similar industry is a plus
