Sales Account Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and upsell/cross-sell products or services to existing customers.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and negotiation to closing deals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer service, finance) to ensure smooth client delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
  • Handle client inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity in CRM systems.
  • Participate in sales strategy development and contribute to business growth planning.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
  • 3 – 5 years proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or in a similar sales role.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, customer relationship management, and negotiation techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 monthly.
