Warehouse Specialist – Finished Goods (FGS) Dispatch

Job purpose
- To ensure effective dispatch of Finished Goods (FGS) from warehouse to customers and ensure that only quality and certified FGS are dispatched to customers, using transporters with current/valid Goods In Transit (GIT), in line with approved Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) parameters.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch of Finished Goods to customers and ensure prompt posting of same on Navision Dynamics
- Ensure proper Waybill is raised for all FGS sent to customers through Navision Dynamics
- Daily/monthly stock taking for Finished Goods inventory management/control and ensure variances arising are reconciled promptly
- Prompt registration of trucks and ensure pre-dispatch inspection is carried out before loading on trucks.
- Prepare daily dispatch report, matching with daily dispatch plan and circulate accordingly
- Prepare Store Receipt Vouchers (SRV) for packaging materials received and Store Issue Vouchers (SIV) for materials used in the FGS Warehouse
- Monitor packaging materials stock position and ensure re-order level is adhered.
- Monitor and supervise the activities relating to issue of packaging materials to production department.
- Ensure proper documentation of all items received
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Purchasing & Supply, Transportation & Logistics or related fields
- 1 – 3 years cognate experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or any other Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
- Ability to use Microsoft office packages – Excel, Word, Power Point

Job purpose
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment, conduct daily surveillance of the plant facilities and equipment and report security threat findings to management.
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective operation of the security system by ensuring that approved personnel, facilities and methods are in place.
- Supervise and coordinate the contract security operatives
- Carry out regular timely checks on all security bits within the factory and company residential quarters.
- Handle investigation of matters approved by management
- Advice management from time to time on general security issues
- Undertake regular intelligent surveillance and render intelligence reports to management
- Identify and rate aspects departments’ activities and develop programs where necessary, to help control those aspects that could have adverse impact on the environment
- Support the HSE Supervisor in all Fire, Health, Safety and Environment matters
- Ensure Human Resources related Compliance with QMS, FSSC, OH&S, EMS, SGP & SEDEX
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Security Management or related fields
- 1 – 3 years cognate experience
- Ability to prepare and review intelligence reports
- Communication, problem solving, team building and supervisory skills
- Ability to impart knowledge on others
