Job Description

  • An HR & Admin Officer supports daily HR operations, handling employee records, recruitment logistics (posting jobs, scheduling interviews), onboarding / off boarding, payroll data, benefits admin, policy communication, and ensuring legal compliance, acting as a key link between staff and management for smooth HR functions and admin support.
  • They manage databases, prepare reports, coordinate training, and handle general employee queries, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Posting ads, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, conducting orientations, and managing new hire paperwork.
  • Employee Records & Data Management: Maintaining accurate personnel files, updating HR databases (HRIS), managing attendance, leave requests, and generating HR reports.
  • Policy & Compliance: Implementing HR policies, creating FAQs, ensuring adherence to labor laws, and drafting internal communications.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Assisting with payroll data, answering questions about benefits, and managing leave administration.
  • Employee Relations: Acting as the first point of contact for employee queries, supporting disciplinary processes, and managing internal events.
  • Training & Development: Organizing training sessions and preparing training materials.
  • Administrative Support: Arranging meetings, managing correspondence, and handling general office admin for the HR department.

Salary
N150,000 – N300,000 / month.
