Account Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ logistics needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of haulage and logistics services according to client requirements and objectives.
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts and generate new business through referrals, upselling, or cross-selling.
- Prepare reports on account status and service performance.
- Resolve client issues and complaints promptly to maintain trust.
- Coordinate with operations, dispatch, billing, and customer service teams to meet client expectations.
- Monitor and track KPIs to measure service level and account performance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, contracts, and SLAs.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in client/account management within the logistics or haulage industry.

Method of Application
Duties and responsibilities
- Convey employees to their approved destinations
- Ensure the vehicle log is properly completed.
- Assist in procurement and other errands.
- Maintain records, such as diesel purchase, etc,
- Maintain vehicles in good and neat working condition.
- Perform emergency repairs, such as changing tires with the approval of the workshop manager and under strict supervision/guidance by a qualified mechanic.
- Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles. • Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
- Undertakes rescue operations
- Ability to navigate roads and understand road signs
- Leverage the journey management plan to arrive at destinations promptly
- Clean and ensure their vehicles are in good condition
- Notify the admin manager of the maintenance due date for the pool vehicle and ensure prompt maintenance
- Notify the admin manager of the expiry of vehicle’s documents and follow up to ensure prompt renewal
- Manage and maintain all vehicle accessories to meet the stipulated usage durations.
- Any other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification with 2 – 5 years work experience.
