Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record all goods and supplies delivered to the store.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all incoming and outgoing stock.
- Ensure proper storage, arrangement, and labeling of goods to facilitate easy identification and access.
- Conduct daily and periodic stock counts to reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Branch Manager or Regional Manager promptly.
- Monitor stock levels and notify the procurement team when reordering is necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the store.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND or HND/B.Sc. in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years relevant work experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Officer, or Warehouse Assistant in a supermarket, retail, or FMCG environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
- Good understanding of stock control procedures, goods receipt, and issuance processes.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in auditing or internal control.
- ICAN Certification or ongoing ICAN qualification is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in auditing, internal control, or accounting functions, preferably within a retail, FMCG, or supermarket environment.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, internal control systems, and audit standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and surprise audits of all departments and branches to ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Review cash handling, sales records, inventory management, and expense documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Detect and report discrepancies, fraud, or policy violations promptly to management.
- Verify stock balances, supplier transactions, and store activities to ensure accountability.
- Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and submit findings with corrective action plans to the Head of Audit and Management.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on compliance.
- Support management in risk assessment, loss prevention, and process improvement initiatives.
