Job Objectives

  • We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Business Development & Partnerships Manager to drive partnerships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), trade groups, and key industry stakeholders.
  • This role will focus on building strong alliances that enhance our product distribution, increase merchant adoption, and expand our ecosystem in e-commerce, payments, and financial services.
  • The ideal candidate has a proven track record of developing partnerships, negotiating deals, and managing high-value relationships that contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilites
Partnership Development & Management:

  • Identify, engage, and secure strategic partnerships with OEMs, trade groups, and industry associations.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term value creation.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive collaboration and expand market presence.

Business Growth & Expansion:

  • Develop and implement strategies to leverage partnerships for customer acquisition, merchant growth, and revenue expansion.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to create tailored solutions that meet partner and market needs.
  • Identify new market opportunities and channels through partnerships.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with OEMs, trade groups, and other industry partners.
  • Organize and represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and networking sessions.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment between internal teams and external partners.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track partnership performance and contribution to overall business goals.
  • Provide insights, data, and recommendations to senior management to optimize partnership outcomes.
  • Regularly review and assess partnership agreements to ensure continued relevance and value.

KPIs

  • Number and quality of OEM and trade group partnerships secured.
  • Revenue growth and customer acquisition from partnerships.
  • Partner satisfaction and retention rate.
  • Contribution of partnerships to business expansion goals.
  • Achievement of partnership and growth targets within set timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within e-commerce, payments, or financial services.
  • Proven track record of successfully building and managing strategic partnerships, preferably with OEMs, trade groups, or large organizations.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure for e-commerce at scale.
  • Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
  • Automating infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Monitoring system performance, uptime, and reliability.
  • Collaborating with backend engineers to optimize APIs, databases, and microservices.
  • Managing databases, caching, and load balancing to handle high-traffic applications.
  • Implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Enforcing security best practices across infrastructure and deployments.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, etc.).
  • Experience with Node.js backend deployments (Express).
  • Solid skills in Docker & Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and caching (Redis).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and performance optimization.
  • Bonus: Experience with e-commerce platforms or high-scale systems.
