About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced FTTH Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale fiber optic (FTTH) deployment projects across multiple locations in Nigeria.
• The ideal candidate must have strong, hands-on experience managing MTN FTTH projects — either currently or previously — with a proven ability to deliver complex telecom infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
• The successful candidate will be joining a leading infrastructure and technology solutions company that provides turnkey services in telecom engineering, fiber deployment, civil works, and energy systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute FTTH rollout projects end-to-end — including design validation, permitting, trenching, ducting, fiber blowing, splicing, and activation.
• Lead project teams and contractors to ensure delivery timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.
• Coordinate with client representatives (especially MTN and other telecom operators) to ensure smooth project execution and timely reporting.
• Manage project budgets, materials, logistics, and manpower deployment effectively.
• Oversee network documentation, as-built drawings, test reports, and quality assurance submissions.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical or operational challenges, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Ensure adherence to HSE and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Prepare and submit regular project status reports to management and clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or Telecommunications) or a related field.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in telecom fiber projects, with at least 3–5 years specifically managing MTN FTTH projects.
• Demonstrable experience overseeing large-scale FTTH deployments (planning, design, implementation, and commissioning).
• Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple site teams.
• Proficiency in project tracking tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
• Excellent knowledge of FTTH technologies, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
