Job Summary

  • The Server is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by efficiently serving food and beverages, maintaining service standards, and ensuring a positive dining and event experience for all guests.
  • The role requires professionalism, accuracy in food portioning, adherence to hygiene standards, and the ability to represent Puff & Glaze Ltd positively at all times.

Key Responsibilities
The Employee’s key responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Portion food accurately in accordance with the company’s approved standard weights and serving guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen, service, and event teams to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
  • Serve and portion food accurately during events in line with the company’s approved standard weights and service procedures.
  • Greet customers courteously and attend to them in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ensure tables, service areas, and customer spaces are kept clean, orderly, and presentable at all times.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring correct presentation and quality standards.
  • Respond politely and professionally to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Represent Puff & Glaze Ltd professionally at all external engagements, events, and customer interactions.
  • Comply with all company policies, operational procedures, and management instructions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of a secondary school certificate.
  • Previous experience as a Server, Waiter, or in a similar customer-facing role is an added advantage.
  • Experience in a restaurant, food service, hospitality, or event environment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling, hygiene, and customer service standards.
