Job Summary

  • The Barber is responsible for cutting, styling, grooming, and shaving men’s hair and beards.
  • The ideal candidate should be professional, skilled in various haircut styles, and capable of creating a clean and welcoming environment for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut, shape, trim, and style hair according to client instructions or current trends.
  • Perform beard grooming, shaving, and lining.
  • Sanitize and maintain barbering tools and workstations.
  • Build strong customer relationships and maintain client retention.
  • Suggest suitable haircuts or treatments based on face shape and hair type.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
  • Keep up with trends in men’s grooming and hairstyles.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a barber with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in classic and modern haircut styles.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Certification from a barbing or grooming school is an added advantage.
  • Neat appearance and professional attitude.

Job Summary

  • The Human Resource Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR department.
  • This role assists in recruitment, employee records management, onboarding, training coordination, and other HR functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment processes including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Maintain and update employee records, files, and databases.
  • Support onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, letters, and reports.
  • Handle employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate HR personnel.
  • Help coordinate training sessions, workshops, and performance appraisals.
  • Track employee attendance, leave requests, and HR documentation.
  • Ensure proper filing of confidential HR documents in compliance with policies.
  • Assist with organizing staff events, welfare activities, or health programs.
  • Support compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Requirements

  • OND / HND / B.Sc. in Human Resource Management, Business Admin, or a related field.
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience (internship or full-time).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive with strong multitasking ability.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of HR software or HRIS systems.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a supportive attitude.
