ResponsibilitiesÂ

  • The Program Officer shall be in charge of program activities associated with Integrated CLM implementation at the CBO level.Â
  • Support daily administrative and technical CLM implementation activitiesÂ
  • Liaise with the CBO project implementation team, to collect, collate, and analyze field data and reports.Â
  • Coordinates programs activities at the project site and in the officeÂ
  • Nurture relationships with primary care providers, CBO project management team and other stakeholders to advance advocacy goals of the project at CBO level.Â
  • Work with the CBO project management team to distribute advocacy materials, including briefs, fact sheets, and press releases.Â
  • Organize CBO-level advocacy events to garner support for the priorities of the project.Â
  • Facilitate meetings to foster collaboration and alignment with key stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and support for the project at CBO level.Â
  • Give reports on activities being carried out by the CBO as it relates to Integrated CLM implementationÂ
  • Carry out health talks/Health education, nutritional counseling, career counseling, and HIV counseling and Testing at the project siteÂ
  • prepare CBO monthly work plan that will breakdown program activities into detailed projects, with tasks, activities, timelines and scopeÂ
  • Conduct periodic supportive supervision visit to the service delivery points.Â
  • Carry out any other assignment as may be directed by your line ManagerÂ

QualificationsÂ

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Social Sciences or other related disciplines.Â
  • 2 years of Previous work experience in Global Fund HIV/TB/Malaria or PEPFAR grantÂ
  • 3 years of work experience in a NGO/CBO implementing HIV/TB/Malaria Interventions.Â
  • 2 years of Working knowledge of Care & Support in HIV interventions in Nigeria working with PLHIV, PPW, AGYW/AYP & KPÂ
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Â
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, including understanding the local language of the people. Attentive to details, highly organized, and self-motivated

Method of Application

INTERVENTION AREA: Integrated CLM implementationÂ

ResponsibilitiesÂ

  • Ensure the application of proper internal control systems and accounting processes to facilitate financial monitoring and control in line with the donor Guidelines for Financial reporting and auditing of projects;Â
  • Ensure prudent financial management and value for moneyÂ
  • Ensure that all supporting documents in respect of financial transactions are adequately authorized and have correct informationÂ
  • Ensure timely payment to staff, vendors, and statutory deductionsÂ
  • Ensure all staff complies with the retirement process and timely retirement in line with organizational policy.Â
  • Prepare and submit timely financial reports to SRÂ
  • Ensure overall preparation of project accounting ledgers and project accounts by best practices and standards;Â
  • Ensures proper filing of all financial documents.Â
  • Assist with audit preparationÂ
  • Carries out any other tasks required by SR and PR ManagementÂ

Qualifications, Experience, and CompetenciesÂ

  • A 4-year degree/HND in accounting, finance and/or bookkeeping,Â
  • At least 3 years of experience as a finance officer in a NGO/CBO.Â
  • 2 years of Previous work experience in Global Fund HIV/TB/Malaria or PEPFAR grantÂ
  • 3 years of work experience in an NGO/CBO implementing HIV/TB/Malaria Interventions.Â
  • Strong written and oral communication skillsÂ
  • Sound organization and planning abilitiesÂ
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skillsÂ
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at allÂ
  • levels of managementÂ
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a teamÂ
  • Budget management skills is a mustÂ
