Responsibilities
- Deposit Mobilization & Business Development.
- Design, implement, and monitor deposit mobilization strategies to achieve the bank’s funding and liquidity objectives.
- Develop new deposit products and campaigns tailored to retail, SME, corporate, and institutional customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, corporates, government institutions, and other stakeholders to drive deposit growth.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify deposit market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Support the Head of Treasury in managing the bank’s balance sheet with a focus on funding mix, cost of funds, and liquidity ratios.
Qualification
- B.Sc Degree / HND qualification in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in treasury management, asset and liability management, or financial planning.
- Certification in Treasury Management (ACTM, CFA, CIBN) is an advantage.

- Client Relationship Management
- Develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with existing and prospective SME clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for SME clients, ensuring timely resolution of queries and concerns.
- Conduct regular client visits and relationship reviews to assess financial needs and propose suitable banking solutions.
- Identify, acquire, and onboard new SME clients to grow the bank’s SME portfolio.
- Proactively explore opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell financial products (e.g., loans, trade finance, deposits, treasury products, digital solutions).
