Head of Academy Growth

Key Responsibilities
Builder’s Leadership & Scale:

  • Build and institutionalize all Academy systems — governance, training operations, curriculum delivery, and partner management.
  • Transform the Academy from “successful pilot” to a fully functional educationalenterprise.
  • Drive digital transformation: implement dashboards, LMS, and playbook integration fordaily reporting.
  • Establish sustainable business models (paid programs, corporate training,sponsorships).
  • Lead with a hands-on builder mindset — design, test, implement, and optimize fast.

Strategic Growth & Impact:

  • Develop and execute the Academy’s 1–3 year strategic roadmap.
  • Set and track growth KPIs for enrollment, graduation, job placement, and industry partnerships.
  • Develop financial sustainability models — manage budgets, cost control, and profitability targets.
  • Present quarterly progress reports and forecasts to the Founder and Board.

Program & Curriculum Excellence:

  • Oversee the quality, design, and relevance of all learning programs.
  • Ensure alignment with international training standards (ISO 21001).
  • Implement feedback loops with learners, trainers, and employers.
  • Drive continuous improvement through audits and reviews.

Partnership & Brand Expansion:

  • Build partnerships with brands, manufacturers, NGOs, and education stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Majeurs’ Brand & Creative team to market the Academy and amplify success stories.
  • Secure industry partnerships for internships, job placements, and sponsorships.
  • Represent Majeurs Academy in events, government initiatives, and international collaborations.

Team Leadership & Execution:

  • Lead a multi-departmental team across curriculum, marketing, operations, and partnerships.
  • Build capacity: hire, mentor, and coach emerging leaders.
  • Run weekly performance meetings using RAG (Red–Amber–Green) dashboards.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and innovation.

Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure full adherence to Majeurs Playbook, reporting structures, and documentation discipline.
  • Maintain NDPR compliance and training certification records.
  • Work closely with the Execution & Compliance Lead to ensure quarterly audits and KPI reporting.

Job Description

  • Lead MANDE’s product vision, ensure flawless execution, and build the systems that make Majeurs a
  • world-class digital ecosystem.
  • You’ll align people, product, and process — turning business goals into working, scalable systems.

Responsibilities
Product Ownership:

  • Translate MANDE’s vision into a clear product roadmap (from MVP to market launch).
  • Prioritize features, timelines, and resources to deliver efficiently.
  • Ensure the platform delivers a seamless user experience for both makers and buyers.
  • Maintain alignment between product design, marketing strategy, and business goals.

Technology Leadership:

  • Oversee development — managing freelancers, agencies, and internal contributors.
  • Set technical standards and ensure quality across all builds.
  • Ensure integrations (CRM, payment, analytics) run smoothly and securely.
  • Manage system uptime, performance, and user data protection.

Growth & Adoption:

  • Collaborate with Brand and Sales teams to ensure strong go-to-market execution.
  • Review analytics and feedback weekly to guide improvements.
  • Implement product updates that enhance adoption, retention, and conversion.
  • Create structured reporting for leadership on platform health and growth metrics.
  • You’ll play a visible role in shaping how Africa’s maker economy digitizes — your success in
  • MANDE will define a continent-scale product story.

Team Management & Collaboration:

  • Lead cross-functional meetings with marketing, operations, and customer success.
  • Coach junior staff and freelancers to uphold delivery standards.
  • Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Act as the link between business needs and technical execution.
  • You will have access to design, development, and marketing support teams, as well as an operating budget for product delivery.

Governance & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate product documentation and progress dashboards.
  • Submit a monthly “MANDE Progress Report” with milestones, blockers, and next steps.
  • Ensure compliance with NDPR, IP protection, and platform security standards.
  • Liaise with the Execution & Compliance Lead to ensure all reporting timelines are met
