Job Summary
- The Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience at the hotel’s restaurant, lounge, and bar areas.
- She takes orders, serves food and beverages, maintains cleanliness, and ensures all guests are attended to promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus, explain specials, and answer customer questions.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve meals and beverages efficiently and with courtesy.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints politely and report issues to the supervisor.
Operational Duties:
- Set up dining areas before service (tables, cutlery, condiments).
- Clear and clean tables after guests leave.
- Keep the restaurant, lounge, and bar area tidy at all times.
- Assist with stocking supplies (napkins, glasses, trays, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with hotel hygiene and safety standards.
Cash Handling:
- Present bills and process payments accurately (POS or cash).
- Maintain proper record of transactions as required.
Teamwork & Communication:
- Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow waiters.
- Communicate guest needs and special requests clearly.
- Participate in team briefings and training sessions.
Qualifications & Skills
- SSCE/OND qualification minimum.
- Previous experience as a waitress is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Customer-friendly attitude.
- Basic math and POS handling skills.
Work Conditions:
- Shift-based schedule (morning, afternoon, or night).
- Long standing hours may be required.
- Must be available during weekends and holidays

- The Porter is responsible for welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, maintaining cleanliness in public areas, and supporting front-office operations. The role ensures smooth guest movement and contributes to the overall comfort and satisfaction of guests throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Assistance:
- Warmly welcome guests on arrival.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage.
- Escort guests to their rooms and explain room features when required.
- Arrange taxis or assist with transportation needs.
- Provide directions and information about hotel facilities and nearby attractions.
Luggage & Delivery Duties:
- Label, store, and retrieve guest luggage safely.
- Deliver messages, parcels, amenities, or room service items to guest rooms.
- Assist with group check-ins and luggage coordination.
Front Office Support:
- Support front desk staff during busy hours.
- Help manage the lobby area and guide guests when needed.
- Monitor guest arrival/departure flow for smooth operations.
Cleanliness & Maintenance:
- Keep lobby and entrance areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues immediately.
- Assist in keeping trolleys, carts, and equipment clean and serviceable.
Security & Safety:
- Monitor entry/exit points and inform security of suspicious activity.
- Follow all safety and emergency procedures.
- Ensure guests’ belongings are handled with care and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills
- SSCE minimum qualification.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy luggage.
- Neat appearance and good personal grooming.
- Polite, respectful, and service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Work Conditions:
- Long standing and walking hours.
- Shift-based work (morning/afternoon/night).
- Frequent interaction with guests.
