Job Description

  • We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our hotel’s finance team.
  • The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensure accuracy in accounting processes, and support the Finance Manager in daily accounting operations.
  • This position is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in finance within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Post daily transactions including revenue, expenses, and journal entries into the accounting system.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and guest ledgers regularly.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial records and support documentation for audits.
  • Assist in payroll preparation and ensure accuracy of employee records.
  • Prepare and review petty cash vouchers, ensuring proper approvals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Perform any other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Summary

  • We are seeking a professional and guest-focused Front Office Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our hotel’s front desk.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure smooth check-in/check-out procedures, provide excellent customer service, and supervise the front office team to deliver a warm and welcoming experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily front office operations, including guest check-in, check-out, reservations, and inquiries.
  • Ensure excellent guest service by handling complaints, requests, and special needs promptly and professionally.
  • Train, schedule, and motivate front office staff to maintain a high standard of service.
  • Monitor room availability, manage reservations, and coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest readiness.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, payments, and front desk reports.
  • Implement and enforce hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Ensure front office equipment (computers, phones, POS systems) is functioning properly and report any issues to management.
  • Assist with staff performance evaluations and recommend improvements when needed.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly front office reports as required by management.
  • Act as the point of contact for VIP guests, groups, and special events when required.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree with 1 – 2 years work experience.
