Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Create and develop new control systems and design new instrumentation and control systems.
- System and Component Selection: Choose and specify parts like controllers, transmitters, and sensors.
- Technical Documentation: Create schematics, diagrams, and layouts using CAD software, and write technical manuals and reports.
- Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the installation of new devices and systems, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of existing equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Analyze data and troubleshoot issues with instrumentation and control systems to resolve problems and ensure accurate measurements.
- Software and Control: Develop and implement software using tools like PLC, DCS, or SCADA systems.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with health, safety, and industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work with other engineering teams and contractors to integrate and supervise control systems.
Skills and Qualifications
- Educational background: Typically requires a B. Tech degree in instrumentation engineering or a related field.
- Technical skills: Proficient in using CAD software and programming languages (e.g., PLC, DCS, SCADA).
- Analytical skills: Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to interpret data and solve problems.
- Problem-solving: Excellent creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teams and train users.
- Attention to detail: A high level of attention to detail is crucial for accuracy in design and maintenance.

- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical system problems and evaluate existing equipment to recommend necessary modifications.
- Design and Development: Create and improve electrical and electronic devices, products, and systems using design software and adhering to technical requirements.
Collaboration and Compliance:
- Teamwork: Work with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to bring complex projects to life.
- Safety and Standards: Ensure all designs and systems comply with applicable safety standards, codes, and regulations.
- Project Management: Contribute to project plans, ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and help manage production efforts.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 5-10 years of experience, with previous experience in EPC projects
- COREN registered and PMP are an advantage.
