Mission

  • Assist the Electrical Superintendent to maintain BINL Technical Availability above 90%. Day-to-day support, supervision and guidance of the Electrical team dedicated to vessel maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical components on the Surfer fleet.
  • Carry out full condition surveys of all the electrical components on the vessel during the PMP and stop over periods.
  • Complete the tasks planned on the work plan related to the vessel on PMP.
  • Daily reporting to effectively communicate the progress of maintenance activities.
  • Report all the tasks performed to fulfill the work plan and the TDDR
  • Keep all tools and equipment in a good condition. Report all missing or deteriorated tools in order to have them replaced immmdiately.
  • Follow QHSE procedures and improve safety during all maintenance activities. Carry out Toolbox Talks and Job Safety Analysis for all tasks.

Requirements

  • Good Electrical knowledge in Marine industry
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Electrician in maritime industry

Method of Application

Mission

  • Lead a multi-discipline Dry Dock Team in the safe and timely completion of the dry dock scope of work
  • Assist the Technical Manager to maintain BINL Technical Availability above 90%.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the preventative and corrective maintenance activities for vessels assigned to him
  • Manage the different technical teams assigned to the dry dock project to ensure that the scope of work is completed safely, completely, on time and to a high standard.
  • Provide the Reliability Supervisor with daily updates of work progress, and highlight any areas of concern relating to quality or schedule.
  • Conduct a full condition survey of the vessel before starting a dry dock period and assist in the preparation of the scope of work, detailing the labour, durations and spare parts required.
  • Train and develop technical teams under his supervision to give them the skills needed in their daily tasks.
  • Follow QHSE procedures and improve safety during all base maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Computer literate.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the maritime industry in a technical department.
