Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Sales and Operations Manager to lead our sales initiatives and oversee operational functions within our construction chemicals division.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction and building materials market, demonstrate excellent leadership skills, and have a proven record of driving sales growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify and leverage new market opportunities to grow the customer base.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients, architects, engineers, contractors, construction companies, and real estate developers.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to shape sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in resource management.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational workflows.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and operations team to achieve high performance.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Establish performance metrics/dashboards and evaluate team performance for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7 – 8 years of experience in sales and operations within the building materials/construction industry.
  • At least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving operational excellence.
  • Deep understanding of the construction and build materials market and customer needs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
