Role Summary
- The Salesman will be responsible for generating and maintaining business for truck maintenance services, spare parts, and service contracts.
- This role requires building strong relationships with fleet operators, logistics companies, and individual truck owners, ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell truck maintenance services, spare parts, and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) to existing and prospective clients.
- Identify new business opportunities within the logistics and transportation sector.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the management.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with service/workshop teams to ensure quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups using CRM tools.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Support marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
- Provide after-sales support and resolve customer concerns in coordination with the service team.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven sales experience in automotive / truck maintenance, spare parts, or heavy vehicles sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of truck components, preventive maintenance, and repair services.
- Ability to work independently and achieve results under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license (preferably heavy vehicle license is a plus).
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM software).
