About the job
- The Content Marketer will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing compelling content across multiple channels to strengthen Sycamore’s brand presence, support product awareness, and drive growth. This role requires strong storytelling ability, creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with Sycamore’s business and marketing goals.
- Create high-quality content including social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, scripts, website copy, product descriptions, and marketing materials.
- Manage the content calendar and ensure consistent brand messaging across channels.
- Coordinate content delivery across departments for campaigns, product launches, and cross-functional initiatives.
Digital & Social Media Marketing
- Manage and grow Sycamore’s social media platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
- Monitor trends, competitor activity, and industry conversations to create timely and relevant content.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to develop creative assets (graphics, videos, animations, etc.).
- Track, analyze, and report social media performance and engagement metrics.
Brand & Communication
- Ensure all content aligns with Sycamore’s brand voice, tone, culture, and values.
- Support internal communication efforts including newsletters, event content, and HR initiatives.
- Create compelling stories that highlight Sycamore’s products, customer success, and brand impact.
Campaign & Growth Support
- Support paid and organic marketing campaigns with tailored content.
- Work with the Growth team to refine content strategies that drive conversions and customer engagement.
- Conduct customer and market research to develop relatable and problem-solving messaging.
SEO & Analytics
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve content discoverability and rankings.
- Use analytics tools to measure content performance and optimize for better results.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and HR teams to generate content that supports organizational goals.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas for campaigns and projects.
Key Requirements
- 2–4 years’ experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or social media management (fintech experience is an advantage).
- Proven experience creating engaging content across digital platforms.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience with SEO, analytics tools, and social media platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Suite, or other content creation tools is a plus.
- Ability to think critically and collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for assigned roles, from job briefing to candidate onboarding.
- Develop and post job descriptions across recruitment platforms, including internal and external channels.
- Source, screen, and shortlist high-quality candidates using modern recruitment tools and methodologies.
- Conduct HR interviews, coordinate technical interviews, and manage the overall candidate experience.
- Maintain a structured recruitment tracker and provide timely reports to hiring managers.
- Support employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
Performance Management
- Support the implementation of SycamoreNG’s performance management framework.
- Work closely with team leads and department heads to set KPIs and monitor performance cycles.
- Track performance documentation and follow up with managers to ensure timely reviews.
- Support performance calibration sessions and documentation of outcomes.
- Contribute to performance-related interventions such as PIPs (Performance Improvement Plans).
- Analyze performance trends and prepare insights for decision-making.
HR Operations & Employee Experience
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a smooth employee experience.
- Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and dashboard updates.
- Support the administration of trainings, learning sessions, and internal engagement programs
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed across the organization.
- Provide first-level HR support to employees and escalate issues when needed.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with department leads to understand their hiring needs and performance expectations.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive smooth HR processes.
- Influence decision-making through data-driven insights and structured communication, leveraging consulting experience.
Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Relevant HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is required.
- 3–4 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a consulting firm (HR consulting preferred).
- Strong hands-on experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and performance management processes.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or fintech environment is an added advantage..
