Senior Procurement Officer

  • At Sooyah Bistro, we know that great meals start long before they hit the grill — they begin with great procurement! We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Officer who will ensure that all our branches are stocked with the best-quality ingredients and materials, at the right price and on time.
  • You’ll lead sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing processes that keep our kitchens running smoothly and our customers smiling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle — from sourcing to purchase to delivery.
  • Source reliable food suppliers and service vendors to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Track supplier performance (pricing, quality, timeliness) and maintain a preferred supplier list.
  • Work closely with the Inventory and Kitchen teams to anticipate stock needs and plan timely restocks.
  • Prepare and review purchase orders and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
  • Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies, food safety, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4–6 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably within a restaurant, FMCG, or food production environment.
  • Proven experience in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and cost management.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/procurement software.
  • High integrity, accountability, and a proactive attitude.
