Purpose of the Job
- Ensure adequate measures are put in place to guard against collection losses and detect potential revenue leakages/irregularities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Revenue Monitoring and Mobilization Supervisor shall therefore be responsible, but not limited, for the following:
- Plan, allocate, coordinate and monitor revenue collection.
- Develop and implement quantifiable revenue and collection monitoring mechanisms to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify areas with high financial leakages (e.g., unmetered customers, energy theft, billing errors) and design appropriate strategies to enhance billing and collection operations minimizing collection and commercial losses.
- Collaborate with relevant departments (e.g., Metering, Billing, Operations) to develop and implement revenue protection processes and procedures.
- Carry out periodic Quality Assurance (QA) on revenue protection processes and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Monitor compliance with electricity regulations, policies, and industry standards related to revenue collection and billing.
- Review NESCO’s revenue vis-à-vis energy supplied.
- Prepare periodic reports for the attention of the Lead, Commercial.
- Carry out any other duties as requested by the Lead, Commercial.
Minimum Educational & Professional Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
- First degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration Accountancy and Banking & Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Electricity Supply Industry.
- Full Membership of a Relevant Professional Body.
Attributes and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of revenue optimization techniques and strategies in the power sector

Purpose of the Job
- Executes corrective actions to address energy theft, and irregularities, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Enforcement Officer shall therefore be responsible, but not limited, for the following:
- Enforce corrective measures to address energy theft, meter tampering, illegal connections, and other activities contributing to commercial losses.
- Collaborate with the Surveillance Officer to act on findings and evidence of irregularities in energy usage or billing.
- Disconnect or regularize illegal power connections in compliance with legal and regulatory standards (NERC regulations).
- Engage with customers to educate and warn against illegal energy usage practices and their consequences.
- Support audits of customer accounts and installations to ensure compliance with the company’s billing and metering policies.
- Liaise with law enforcement or security agencies when necessary to ensure the safety and effectiveness of enforcement operations.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to reduce commercial losses and enhance revenue collection.
- Ensure meter installation targets are met.
- Maintain records of enforcement activities, including violations detected and corrective measures taken.
- Prepare detailed reports on enforcement activities, including outcomes and recommendations for future improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Revenue Protection Enforcement Supervisor to support the department’s objectives.
Minimum Educational & Professional Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
- Higher National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the Electricity Supply Industry.
- Full Membership of a Relevant Professional Body.
