Business Development Officer

Reports to: Managing Director and Executive Director.
Job Summary:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Business Development Officer to identify, develop, and execute growth opportunities in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will have a strong network and understanding of the industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business growth strategies to expand the Company\’s presence in the Energy, Oil and Gas market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Energy Oil and Gas operators, service companies, and industry partners.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to develop and deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of potential clients and opportunities.
- Provide market feedback to internal teams to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Prepare tenders for contracts Energy, Oil and Gas companies; and much includes but not limited to Contracts of interest to the company .
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in business development or sales in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong network and relationships within the industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing deals.
- Bachelor\’s degree in Business, Accounting , Engineering, Geology, or related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience with CRM software and sales tools.
- Strong understanding of oil and gas industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Nice to Have:
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience with oil and gas operations, including upstream, midstream, or downstream.
- Knowledge of energy transition and emerging technologies, such as renewable energy and carbon capture.What We Offer:
