JOB SUMMARYÂ

• The Strategy Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring organizational strategies to achieve long-term goals and ensure peak performance. This role involves collaborating with leadership teams, analyzing performance metrics, and aligning organizational processes with strategic objectives.Â

RESPONSIBILITIESÂ

Strategic Planning & Financial AnalysisÂ

• Lead the development and execution of corporate and departmental strategies in alignment with organizational goals.Â
• Facilitate strategic workshops and planning sessions with senior leaders.Â
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.Â
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.Â
• Conduct financial modeling, forecasting and scenario analysis to guide decision-making.Â
• Assess risks and opportunities in financial planning and provide actionable insights.Â

Performance ManagementÂ

• Design and implement performance management frameworks (e.g., KPIs, OKRs, or balanced scorecards).Â
• Monitor and evaluate organizational performance against strategic objectives.Â
• Develop dashboards and performance reports to present insights and recommendations to executives.Â

Process ImprovementÂ

• Identify gaps in processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Â
• Implement best practices in strategy execution and performance management.Â
• Support cross-functional initiatives to streamline operations and optimize resource allocation.Â

Stakeholder Engagement & ReportingÂ

• Collaborate with department heads and teams to align their objectives with the broader organizational strategy.Â
• Act as a strategic partner to leadership by providing data-driven insights and solutions.Â
• Communicate strategy updates and performance outcomes to key stakeholders.Â
• Prepare detailed reports, dashboards and presentations on financial performance.Â

Change ManagementÂ

• Drive change management initiatives to support the adoption of new strategies and processes.
• Provide guidance and training to teams to ensure understanding and alignment with performance goals.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead the development of annual budgets, long term financial plans and strategic roadmaps.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecast, identifying areas for improvement.

Investment & Risk Management

• Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions and capital expenditures.
• Develop risk management strategies to safeguard financial health and optimize capital allocation.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, corporate governance and internal controls.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Certifications such as CFA, CPA, MBA or Balanced Scorecard Professional (BSP) are advantageous.
• 5+ years of experience in strategy development, financial planning, performance management, or management consulting.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale strategic initiatives and achieving measurable outcomes.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in strategic frameworks such as SWOT, PESTLE, or Porter’s Five Forces.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for all farm operations.Â
• Create and manage budget plans for the farm.Â
• Monitor cash flow and payroll activity.Â
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.Â
• Prepare and submit financial reports to management and other stakeholders as required.Â
• Develop and analyses financial models to assist in decision-making processes.Â
• Assist with the preparation of tax documents and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Â
• Make recommendations to management on ways to improve the farm’s financial performance.Â
• Participate in strategic planning sessions with other members of the management team.Â
• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulations that could affect the farm’s accounting practices.

Desired Profile

• 10years experience or more in the Farming Industry.Â
• BSC/HND Accounting, Business Administration Management or other related fields.
• ICAN/ANAN will be an added advantage.
