Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma (ND)/HND equivalent in Sciences/Engineering with 5 – 8years work experience as a field operator or maintenance technician in an oil and gas facility.
- Prior experience in an SPDC/Renaissance Oil Terminal Power Generation should be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within FOT Maintenance team.
- Ability to read and interpret complex Electrical and Control system schematics.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and fault rectification in Mars 100 Solar Turbines used for power generation.
- Must have transformer and Switch gear certification from NAPTIN
- Must have cable jointing and termination certification from NAPTIN
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and word)
- HV Overhead line (Up to 33kV) specialist
- Must have NEMSA Electrical Installation Certification
- Knowledge of Process and Personal safety

- Experience in the maintenance of hydrocarbon and plant processing equipment
- Electrical Maintenance Field Supervisor should be skill in maintenance of HV/LV motors,
- MOVs, Switch Gears, MCCs, HV/LV Generators, UPS and rectifier, Earthing and Lightning system, Dissipated Array System for fixed roof and floating roof tanks, Protection Relays,
- HV Transmission and distribution line, cable laying and termination, distribution and transmission transformers, Heater and thyristor, Isolation/Switching of high voltage complex network using switching program, starting-up and synchronization of generators, Solar Mars Turbines operation and maintenance etc.
- Electrical Maintenance Field Supervisor should be an appointed Competent person;
- SAEP (Senior Authorized Electrical Person) in Field Operations or other areas/ assets with high voltage installations and experienced in High Voltage Electrical Distribution and Transmission system and must have robust knowledge on Electrical Safety
- Regulation (ESR) and Electrical Safety Operation (ESOP)
- Mechanical maintenance field supervisor should have capacity to provide operations with engineering support to troubleshoot all rotating & static equipment problems and provide detailed analysis and recommendation to these problems.
- Mechanical maintenance field supervisor should have basic knowledge/ skill in pump alignment, rotor balancing, clearance checks, machining operation, material selection, etc.
- PACO field supervisor must have competence in General instrumentation and 2 out of the following areas: Delta V DCS/SIS engineering and maintenance; Allen Bradley
- Systems engineering and maintenance; SMART Systems engineering and maintenance; and DeltaV DCS engineering and maintenance.

Roles and Responsibilities
- The personnel will be responsible for the following:
- Apply the emergency response procedure where and when necessary.
- Report and close out Unsafe Acts and Unsafe Conditions
- Serves as permit to work signatory and administer safe system of work.
- Apply the Health Safety Security and Environment policy, legislations applicable to crude oil transfer and export.
- Carry out First Line Maintenance (FLM) on Power Generation and key distribution systems.
- Carry out scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) on
- Electrical HV/LV equipment in the Terminal.
- Adhere to plant operational procedures.
- Execute daily communication and end of run handover.
- Prepare equipment for maintenance interventions plant isolation etc.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to execute planned activities.
- Collaborate with Plant operators to execute front line maintenance activities in the plant.
- Supervise the activities of the frontline maintenance team.
- Troubleshooting of safety critical equipment and control system.
- Supporting the production staff in maintaining facilities.
- Assist the maintenance team to cope with high number of activities to sustain asset integrity/equipment availability.
- Comply with HSE practices and procedures.
- Assist in ensuring Technical Integrity and safe operation of new process & utility system to achieve the facility’s objectives.
- Identify any area of new facilities requiring Change Control and document the change proposal.
- Provide specifications for critical spare/or replacement with vendor details (e.g. soft copies for Heater control, etc.)
- Review operating/maintenance procedure under current reality and propose changes.
- Develop (Maintenance Job Routines) MJRs/maintenance procedures and work packs.
- Identify vendor support requirement for equipment maintenance.
- Provide technical support in repairing outstanding mal-functioning equipment (e.g. crude transfer Pump Motor etc)
- Liaison with OEMs for trouble shooting, spare parts, field technical supports etc.
- Support the maintenance (operation) team in all trouble shooting exercises.
- Carryout maintenance routine activities in line with company standards, local and international standards.
- Participate in equipment failure RCA (Root Cause Analysis), investigation and improvement initiatives.
- Participation in MFI (Management Facility Inspections) and HSE meetings
- Close out personal MFI actions other assignments for continuous improvements (AMS process application: RCAs, MTO, MEC etc.) as exigent.

- The Mechanical Support supervisor will be responsible for the following:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team (Welders, technicians, Scaffolders etc.) to deliver simple and complex activities in FOT.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress and ensure timely completion of mechanical activities.
- Ability to negotiate, address interpersonal and technical conflict within the team constructively.
- Interpretation of machine and equipment maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and diagnosis.
- Repair, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, static and rotating equipment.
- Use of diagnostic tools and mechanical hand tools for fault tracing, vibration detection and activity executions.
