Inventory Officer
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for all material in the store.
- Implement efficient ordering and restocking procedures to ensure resources/materials continuous availability.
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Collaborate with purchasing and receiving teams to streamline the supply chain process.
- Analyze consumption patterns and propose adjustments to optimize stock levels.
- Ensure the proper storage and handling of perishable and non-perishable items.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems and procedures.
- Generate reports on inventory performance, stock turnover, and order fulfillment.
Requirements:
- OND qualification in relevant discipline with 2 years related work experience.
- Ability to manage inventory and resolve inventory discrepancies and issues.
- Effective communication skills with various stakeholders including, logistics, procurement and sales team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proper documentation skills and high attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
